To meet the demand for packaging along with increasing mail order shopping, 100 percent paper-made envelopes have been developed which are easy to pack up, feature cushioning and can be posted. When inserting the content into the envelope, paper cushioning installed around the mouth of the envelope is transformed into a honeycomb hammock shape to protect the content. Optimization of the outer paper and paper cushioning has enabled creating an envelope having higher performance than the envelope with polymer cushioning.
