Mitsuya Cider has been available since 2016 featuring plant-derived environmentally friendly materials for each part of the package. To improve the percentage of biomass and plant-derived environmentally friendly materials by using biomass-based printing ink, labels for beverages have been developed by using rice ink with reduced CO₂ emissions. Rice brans produced in Japan are used as part of the raw materials for the labels.
