Confectionary Packaging AwardEco-Friendly Ice Cream Sticks for Choco & Vanilla BarLOTTE CO.LTDHirose Products Co., Ltd.Confectionary Packaging AwardOrandasenbei Paper PackageSEIEIDO Printing Co., Ltd.Sakatabeika Co., Ltd.Confectionary Packaging AwardGift Box and Shipping Box That Contribute to Branding Through Materials and DesignCrown Package Co., Ltd.Scone & Baked sweets SAKU菓子包装部門賞『チョコ＆バニラバー 環境配慮型アイススティック』㈱ロッテ㈱ひろせプロダクトアイススティックには一般的に木材やプラスチックを使用しますが、本商品は、一般流通冷菓では国内初※となる「竹材アイススティック」を使用しました。（※当社調べ）樹木は30－40年ほど生長に要するのに対し、竹は生育速度が速く、４年ほどで生長します。また樹木とは異なり、伐採後にも自生するため、サステナブル素材として注目されています。当社はそうした竹の特徴に着目し、森林保全に寄与できる素材として竹材の有効利用を検討してまいりました。「チョコ＆バニラバー」にて、環境に配慮した竹スティックの実用化を達成しました。菓子包装部門賞『『オランダせんべい』紙器箱パッケージ』精英堂印刷㈱酒田米菓㈱当商品は従来から山形のお土産として親しまれている。そのリニューアルパッケージとして４つの特長がある。①環境配慮性。従来の軟包装から外包材を紙箱に変更し減プラを図った。森林認証紙やバイオマスインキ等を採用し出来る限りの配慮に努めた。②機能性。当商品の流通過程による損傷を防ぐため、箱内部のフラップに緩衝性を持たせた。フタには封緘機能をもたせシール止めを削減した。③全種類に山形県の方言クイズを仕掛け、商品と共に山形の文化を楽しむことができるデザインを施した。④従来の軟包装による内製化だった充填工程が、箱入れに変更したことで、障がい者の就労機会を創出。環境配慮、社会貢献を実現した設計になっている。菓子包装部門賞『素材とデザインでブランディングに貢献「ギフト箱、発送箱」』㈱クラウン・パッケージスコーンと焼菓子 SAKU「スコーンと焼菓子 SAKU」様のキャラクターである「くまの親子」がお店で手作りしたお菓子のイメージを表現するため、焼菓子と相性の良い温かみのある風合いの素材でギフト箱と発送箱を提案。発送箱は、封緘テープを使用せず、梱包作業も簡素化した。ギフト箱と発送箱を同じイメージ、素材で提案する事で統一感を演出してブランディングに貢献した。パッケージ外側にはパーム油を採った後の副産物「パームヤシカサ」をアップサイクルした紙を、内側には折り鶴を配合した紙を使用し、オリジナル性の高い仕様で提案した。超薄型段ボール（マイクロフルート）を使用することで、発送時の商品保護にも寄与した。21Typically, ice cream sticks are made of wood or plastic, but according to our own survey, our product is the first in Japan to introduce “bamboo ice sticks” for widely distributed frozen desserts. Unlike trees, which take 30 to 40 years to mature, bamboo grows rapidly, reaching maturity in about four years. Additionally, regenerates naturally after being cut, making it a highly sustainable material. By focusing on bamboo’s unique properties, we aim to contribute to forest conservation. This redesigned package has four features. 1)Environmental consciousness: The outer packaging has been changed from a conventional flexible package to a paper box to reduce plastic usage. FSC-certified paper and biomass ink are used to make the product as eco-friendly as possible. 2)Functionality: To prevent damage to the product during the distribution process, the flap inside the box is designed with a cushioning function. A sealing function is added to the lid, eliminating the need for tape. 3) All product packaging offers a Yamagata dialect quiz so that customers can enjoy Yamagata culture along with the product. 4) The filling process, which was previously done with flexible packaging in-house, has been shifted job opportunities for people with disabilities. The shipping box is tape-free, simplifying the packing process. By using consistent materials and imagery for both the gift and shipping boxes, we have created unified, brand-enhancing packaging. The outer packaging is made from upcycled paper using ‘‘Yashikasa’’ (empty fruit bunch, EFB), a byproduct of palm oil extraction, while the inner packaging features paper blended with origami cranes for added originality. Additionally, ultra-thin micro-flute cardboard ensures product protection during shipping.
