In response to user requests, we have developed “Microwave Paper Tray for Crispy Cooking” to meet this need. By incorporating a heating film into the paper tray, products that previously required cooking in a toaster or oven can now be prepared entirely in the microwave, enhancing convenience. The “crispiness” through appropriate browning, also improves the taste. Additionally, the paper trays and heating films are designed to be thin, contributing to reduce environmental impacts such as waste reduction and lower CO2 emissions.achieved We have introduced bottles made from 100% recycled PET resin for Kewpie Tasty Dressing Series and dressings with functional food claims. According to Kewpie’s research as of June 2023, this is the first use of 100% recycled PET for condiment packaging in Japan. We anticipate reducing the use of virgin plastic by approximately 460 tons per year, based on company estimates from previous year shipment data.These paper pouches withstand retort sterilization during production and hot water boiling before consumption. By utilizing special water-resistant paper and GL BARRIER®, a film with world-class barrier performance, these high-temperature retort sterilization while offering long-term food preservation. Since paper constitutes the majority of the packaging material, the “Paper Mark” is used to indicate it as paper packaging.
