We have developed a lightweight aluminum can lid for beer-flavored beverage. The lid uses developed materials that reduce the aluminum used without changing the can lid diameter and the exterior design while slightly adjusting the existing equipment. By reducing the thickness of the aluminum plate, the amount has been reduced by 0.2g per lid. A bead is embossed around the circumference of the lid panel to improve the strength and maintain the rigidity of the panel.
