The conventional wooden packaging for optical film rolls of approximately 700kg has been improved by using packaging materials for heavy weight items: the HiPLE-ACE. The features are preventing impact transmission by the hanging structure of the rolled product, improving workability by considering the bearing structure and reducing person-hours in assembling work from three workers to one by applying a three-outer panel structure. As a result, the person-hours have been reduced by 55 minutes and 2.38 million yen per year has been saved.
