The production of Sapporo-ki, the onions from Sapporo, is decreasing due to difficulties in cultivation while the media has introduced them as especially tasty onions for their thickness, soft texture and sweet taste. To differentiate the sales promotion, a new corrugated box has been developed featuring the outside in solid black with the text in orange, imaging the appearance of onions, and the inner side in solid orange, promoting the contents more brilliantly to enhance their product value.
