For products having about 100 different shape configurations with 21 different lengths, 4 types of driving unit, 2 types of inserting unit, we reduced inventory space and packing costs by consolidating packing materials and enabling on-site assembly. To accommodate this differently shaped products, we managed to pack all product shapes by developing a package with total of 8 kinds of packing materials:3 blocks,1 attachment,2 external boxes, and 2 spacers.
