We have developed a drug package that can record the date and time of opening just by the everyday action of taking a pill out of the package. Built-in modules and wiring inside the package automatically record the date and time of opening. Data recorded in the module can be transferred to a PC or a smart device by close-proximity wireless communication via an NFC reader.
