Suntory's spring water is packaged in the lightest PET bottles in Japan: 29.8g for 2L and 11.3g for 550ml. The new design allows users to grip the bottle firmly and stream-lined ribs provide the bottle with structural strength. As for the 550ml bottle, use of petroleum-based material was reduced by 40 % per bottle by replacing it with bio-based material.
