We have developed returnable vacuum formed tray for 10 pcs of car parts as inner component to increase storage efficiency and reduce transportation cost. First, we determined the maximum number of parts that could fit into the box by randomly placing into it and made this the target. By placing the parts in an alternating and oblique arrangement, the parts become packed in an overlapping manner. As a result, the number of pieces that could be accommodated increased from 10 to 20.
