For the rst time, we have applied “Bio Matec® IB-PET” in prepared food pouches that can be cooked in microwave ovens. The material is a plant-derived packaging material that has high transparency and barrier properties and uses sugarcane molasses as a part of the raw materials. We have alsoop timized the specications and made the sealant layer thinner so that material will have a high CO₂ reduction effect.
