We have developed an aluminum-free, light shielding paper cup through a simple production process. The cup’s base paper is a light shielding paper that uses a pulp layer with carbon black applied to it as an intermediate layer. Conventional pulp layers applied to the front and back of the paper maintain an attractive appearance without an expensive or complicated process. Given that it reduces energy use and does not contain any aluminum, it is also environmentally friendly.
